to receive continued behavioral treatment from our agencies, residents are
required to have a clinical and financial assessment. In many instances residents may be
eligible for public assistance for services based on the financial assessment. When a clinical assessment is completed,
residents can obtain a listing of agencies providing behavioral health services
and select the appropriate agency for treatment/services. ~~
Resources available for payment of services for
· Insurance – Services may be partially or fully covered by insurance.
· Sliding Fee Scale – Those people who do not have Medicaid, Medicare, insurance, Title XX or covered by other payment sources are responsible for payment. However, based on financial assessments performed by the agency/provider residents may be eligible to receive a portion or all of their services paid for by public funds.

Local Subsidy / Contract – The ADAMHS
Board receives funding from different local sources (school systems, court,
· Medicaid – Those residents that have a current Medicaid card and having met any spend down requirements (where applicable), are provided Medicaid reimbursable services free of charge. Link to Medicaid Providers
· Medicare – Those residents that have a Medicare card that reimburse for behavioral services are responsible for payment of 20% of the allowable charge / rate of the provider.
· Medicare/Medicaid – Those residents that have a Medicare/Medicaid card and receive services at an eligible Medicare provider have no financial obligations for services received. LINK to Medicare Providers
Should a Montgomery County Resident have problems accessing services, or with the quality of care or the amount of billed charges for services, the resident should contact the Residents Rights Advocate at the ADAMHS Board (443-0416).
